Everyone has a list of things that they can’t live without, whether they know it or not. It could be as simple and relevant as food or it could be something fun and different like their favourite pair of shoes. I have compiled a list of the 10 things that I can definitely not live without or at the very least, don’t want to live without.

Number 1: My phone

As cliché as it is, I definitely need my phone in my life. It has everything I need on it and minimises the number of things I need to bring with me everywhere I go, like my calendar or my music.

(New States Man)

Number 2: Stuffed animals

I know, I know, it’s childish, but honestly, I could probably make it into the Guinness Book of World Records with the number of stuffed animals and toys I have. And as embarrassing as it is, I still have one specific teddy that I bring to bed each night. I just can’t seem to sleep without one or even go away on holidays without having one of them beside me.

(Kids Toys Home)

Number 3: Books

The thought of not having books kills me a little inside. I live for books and no a Kindle won’t suffice. From a young age, I was reading on my own, like most kids are read a bedtime story by their mum or dad, not me though, I read them the bedtime story.

Number 4: Music

Music should probably be higher on this list but it really is one of those things that if I didn’t have it, I would probably be extremely sad all the time. There isn’t a time or place where I won’t listen to my music if given the chance. I’m even listening to some of my favourite songs while I type. I will definitely have to do another post just for my music!

(Cambridge Journal)

Number 5: Popcorn

I always had a major sweet tooth as a kid but over the last couple of years, most of those treats that I once loved, make me feel ill after a bite or two so I rediscovered popcorn and, as unhealthy as it is, I could eat a bag or two of it each day. It’s the one thing that I can I can continuously eat, but only the super salted and buttery popcorn

(Eating made easy)

Number 6: My Cat

I love my cat. She can be a bit of a bitch sometimes but she’s mostly cool. Plus, I’m a veterinary nurse, so I definitely can’t live without some sort of daily animal interact, well as long as it’s not with rabbits or spiders or anything like that. Those are a huge NOPE!

(Yes, this is my cat Peanut)

Number 7: Hair Ties

It’s a bit boring but honestly, my hair is so bushy and wavy when I haven’t straightened it and my god, is it hard to keep under control. I refuse to leave my house without one attached to my wrist or in my bag.

Number 8: My family/friends

I know, another cliché but really, who here can live without their family or friends? They may be annoying sometimes and make you want to pull your hair out but in the end, they are the ones that will be next to you through thick and thin, no matter what.

(White House Paw Prints)

Number 9: Laptop

A few months ago I probably wouldn’t have really considered putting my laptop on the list but since then and the start of my blog, I definitely can’t live without it now. It’s become an integral part of me now and I will be taking it with me every chance I get.

Number 10: Pineapples

This one is a bit weird but I have an odd obsession with pineapples and anything related. I actually hate the taste of pineapple but the word and the look of the fruit are what I love. I have pineapple swimmers, pineapple pyjamas, a pineapple backpack, wallet, watch, tattoo and loads more that are all pineapple related/themed. I just can’t seem to get over pineapples! I should probably rename my blog to Vodka & Pineapples or Vodka & Daisies with a hint of Pineapple haha.

So, there are the 10 things I can’t live without. It’s definitely a lot harder to make this list than I had originally thought haha. Comment below and tell me what’s on your list.
