Looking to the future

I’ve been trying to decide what to write about for the past couple of days. I have a huge list of different things that I could talk about but I have been wanting to write about something that is more than just another blog post. I wanted to share something amazing with you but couldn’t find the right thing or the right words for it.

I started following this account on Instagram @Ladystartups which is a website run by the writer of Mamamia called Mia. She started Lady Start Ups to support and work with women who own or want to own their own business. The website itself only started up this year and plans to provide business tools, workshops, tutorials and a range of other helpful services. Now the website is not just for those already running a business, it is also for those with a dream, a hobby and/or a side project – like blogging or making jewellery.

I followed Lady Start Ups in the hope that I might get some great tips, new ideas or just some inspiration and that’s exactly what I have gotten so far. Mia posted a really awesome photo a couple of days ago which has not only inspired me but given me a bit of hope for my future. It talks about why it doesn’t matter what age you are, you can always follow your dream.

I know I’m only 21 right now but that feeling of not going where I want to go in life is always at the back of my mind. I love finding these little bits of motivation or inspiration, They always give me that little push to keep going with whatever I’m doing.

Luis Bunuel once said, “Age is something that doesn’t matter, unless you are a cheese”.
