The last few weeks I have been trying to read through and pick out over 100 different tips and tricks to make my blog better and my absolute favourite tip was to have an editorial calendar. What is an editorial calendar? Well, while I’m not 100 percent sure why it’s actually called that, what I can tell you is that it is basically a calendar dedicated to your blog posts. I will add a snippet of mine below but for now, I will tell you a little bit more about what it includes.
Stress is probably one of the worst things in life. It can have a pretty serious effect on some people. For me, if my anxiety starts playing up it stresses me out and I end up having a panic attack, becoming really irritable or get super nauseous. But in saying that there are methods out there that can help reduce stress.
Habits can be good or bad. I have both, just like everyone else. I used to bite my nails as a kid. Even though I hated it and it was super gross I just couldn’t break it no matter how hard I tried. I even tried putting horrid tasting polish on them, but it didn’t help. I only stopped when I was 12 and I went to Canberra, Australia with my class. It was so cold down there that I had to wear gloves every minute of the day. I pretty much forgot about biting my nails once I didn’t have access to them. It did take a little longer than that one week to fully stop biting my nails but 10 years later and now my nails are way too long most of the time.
Recently I decided to add style to the list of things I want to write about and share with you. I’ve recently been reading loads of style blogs and one thing that stood out to me was how to get the perfect wardrobe, so I have put together a list of my favourite tips and tricks to get one.

This past month I have really been trying to better myself by focusing on my health, food and minimalizing. I have also been working on becoming a better writer and being more organised. I actually just bought my first bullet journal yesterday so I’m pretty excited to start writing in it and following it. I have had all these great ideas and things I have been wanting to do last month so that I can better my life and become healthier in every way but like most New Year’s Resolutions, mine are not going very well. I’ve decided to start keeping and writing down my monthly goals so I can keep on top of everything. Now that you know a little bit about my goals and focuses from January, here is my February! Some of these will probably overlap too.
I have talked about living with depression and anxiety before but I haven’t really talked about the symptoms that are associated with them or at least the embarrassing ones. Any of the symptoms associated with these mental illnesses can be and probably will be very debilitating but when you suffer from some of the more embarrassing ones, that debilitating feeling becomes one hundred times worse. They can turn your life upside down that little bit quicker and make that day so much harder than it already is. I have experienced a fair few of these symptoms myself and still deal with some of them to this day. There is nothing worse than not being able to control your mind or your body.
Many of us have seen or at least heard of the website ‘Art of Manliness‘. One of their most notable posts is about the ‘100 skills every man should know‘. Well, what about us women? I’ve put together my list of 100 skills every woman should know or should at least have some knowledge of.
We see a lot of articles and photos promoting body positivity and how it is okay to be fat or ‘plus sized’. And, then you see the people who are so against all of that who ‘fat shame’ them instead. You see a photo of a plus-sized model or woman who talks about how she is beautiful even though she is at least a size 26. And, if you look at the comments of that photo you will usually be inundated with ‘You go girl!’, ‘Ignore the haters, they’re just jealous’, or ‘You’re so beautiful and an inspiration to us all’, but then there will be that small group of people saying ‘You’re disgusting’, ‘Lose weight’ or worse. Now, I’m all for body positivity, I envy those who love their body and embraces it, but I also support fat shaming. I’m not talking about the fat-shaming that is severely cruel or bullying, I’m talking about the fat shaming that says yes you are beautiful but it is not okay to promote obesity, and being obese is definitely not good for your health either. I always love when the authors of lifestyle and personal blogs post information about themselves as well as their regular posts. I find that it’s a great way to get to know the author a little better and to remember that they are also just a regular person like the rest of us. I love reading about what makes that person special or what makes them motivated. I also love being able to see a little bit of their personality in their other posts and why what they write about is important to them. Reading those sort of posts gives me a little bit of confidence and motivation to continue with my blog or with my other hobbies and dreams because I can see that I don’t need to be something extra special or a certain type of person to follow and actually complete my goals and aspirations, no matter how big or how small. Here are 10 random facts about me.
